Built in 1904, Observatori Fabra by the Reial Acadèmia de Ciències i Arts de Barcelona is the city’s astronomic, meteorologic and seismologic observatory, where the comet 32P/Comas Solá was discovered by Josep Comas Solá in 1962. Perched high up on Tibidabo, it is opened for public visits on Sundays, and during the week for organized groups. Night visits for star observations are upon appointment—just call +34 934 312 139.
