This private, non-profit foundation opened in Barcelona in 2002 with the purpose of promoting photography through exhibitions, activities such as seminars and symposia, and published catalogues.

Fundació Foto Colectania boasts a collection that brings together more than 2,000 works by Spanish and Portuguese photographers, spanning from 1950 to present day. It also has a reference library and a camera conservation fund donated by the Paco Gomez family.
