The new Desigual store in the heart of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter has two entrances: the main one is on C/ Arcs, and the other on C/ Capellans, 5-7. The store’s underlying concept is ‘Market Luxury Feelings’, which could be defined as a continuation of the philosophy that inspired their original shop at number 140 on Las Ramblas, resembling a traditional Spanish marketplace filled with contemporary goods.

Desigual’s aim is “to illustrate feelings of luxury through simple materials”. Screens throughout the store feature videos of the collection in its making, so from the inception of design to the reception you’ll be wearing it to, you’ll have a direct hand in procuring your style, much the same as one might have had in the relationship between patron and proprietor in the marketplaces of old.
