Artist unknown are not at all what they call themselves—known to insiders as DJ Clé and Mike Vamp, the two long serving Berlin DJs also produce for Pokerflat Records under their Märtini Brös moniker.

Artist Unknown was chosen as an alias for their electro output in the late nineties, and—in the middle of a global electro hype—found Clé and Mike releasing some very successful records on Disko B, flirting with drexciyan atmosphere and old school beats. Their latest work is more akin to the electro clash sound.
